The Unpollute "Zero Emissions Transport Wizard"

The Zero Emissions Transportation Wizard, our money maker if there was one, is what needs the most help of all the work I have to do for my Unpollute dreams to come true.. . I've got so little, except my experience and what data and products I've already linked up on this site... (well, I'm a little behind, there's more in my email to add to this site, and I keep finding more and more stuff that I wish I had...)

The goal of the Wizard is clear: give users a specific and best answer to their own transport needs. No emissions allowed. Drive them to actual products to get started and then everything they may need to keep going indefinitely, with an estimate of cost and Carbon saved, and percentage of U.S. or local parts. It should also take into account how much they have on their Unpollute Gift Card to spend, or how much total they are willing to spend. Give me a $100,000 and I'll go buy a Tesla Roadster (for my wife... I bike!), right now! But most of us are not anywhere near that, and we just need some good practical advice and a way to make the choices clear...

So. we need a list of Zero Emissions Transportation enabling products, which we'll promote here for free for now with links, forums, and discussions, and I've certainly already started doing that... But we need to rank them, with data fields and ratings for type (transport type, gear, clothes, safety, comfort, etc) ,cost (cheap, fair, worth it, not worth it, luxury, waste of money) function (enables biking, walking, small zero emission car use, skating, safety... ) , reliability (lifespan of product and parts, failures possible, cost to fix and standard upkeep needed), specific issues addressed by the product, and total and trip ranges, in miles or km, if applicable. So basically we have an insanely huge matrix to fill in, and it isn't even started... Then we have to code that matrix into the final Zero Emissions Transportation Wizard. Oh, did I mention that it will have to take into account people's individual preferences and data, like where they live and where they want to go and how often they make said trips, what the public transport situation is in their locale, and the thing has to look good and be easy to use.... and then it should point to the map, where the best routes for a user's transport method will be easy to find... but that's actually another future feature of Unpollute.

Now this is a tough one, it's actually way beyond my own personal HTML and internet and business skills at this point. Not to mention time: when do I get time to work on this?

Ideally, I'd want Unpollute.org/com to support the Zero Emissions Transport Wizard feature as the main free service and the ad revenue from (some of) the products promoted to pay for it and the site... (I won't make public transport services like buses and light rail pay, waste of public money...)

Any thoughts? Please add them as a comment or send me a message. I can make a business deal for future income, which there certainly will be, with anyone who'd like to really help... any students of internet design out there that need a project? Any pro's who agree that I'm on to something big here?

Oh, until the Wizard is online, I'll personally look in to anyone's commute or other transportation needs (or other greening-up as may be desired) and talk to you about solutions and products I've seen, including my candid opinion of how green and how viable said options may be. Members may reply here or message me personally and we'll get to looking at stuff.
